In parallel with Park Elektrik’s determination of contributing to the economic, social and cultural development and future of the country as one of its main goals, the Company has the principle of making donations and aids that will support the social development of the country and region in which it operates and is sensitive to social and environmental problems within the scope its understanding of corporate social responsibility.
In this context, Park Elektrik has undertaken many social responsibility projects in the regions where it operates, in addition to its contribution to large scale projects carried out within wider Ciner Group.
Projects aiming to improve the conditions and contribute to the development of the region where the production facilities are located can be classified under 6 headings;
i) Education,
ii) Health,
iii) Donations to villages,
iv) Donations to the security forces,
v) Donations to the foundations and
vi) Other donations
WHAT HAS BEEN DONE UNTIL NOW?
Rehabilitation for 101 students
– Together with the attempts and sponsorships of one of Ciner Group’s companies namely Havas; the 101 students of Çeltiksuyu Primary Boarding School in Bingöl/Türkiye, which was damaged from the earthquake, were brought to Darüssafaka Schools located in Maslak/Istanbul, where an educational and rehabilitation program was applied to them. They were reunited with their families upon completion of the educational year.
Needs of students in completed schools
– To educational institutions built with the voluntary contributions of Ciner Group, 11 of which were completed and delivered to the Ministry of National Education, all the necessary needs for the education of the students were met. Exemplary and modern education facilities were built in line with the projects of the Ministry of National Education.
Approximately 1000 children of the martyrs were given scholarships.
– Ciner Group grants scholarship to the children of martyred personnel of the Turkish Armed Forces and the Ministry of Interior Affairs in coordination with these institutions. These scholarships, which are given to the children of the families of the martyrs according to the level of their schools, will continue until their education is completed, and new students will continue to be given scholarships instead of graduates. The number of students granted scholarships by Ciner Group has reached approximately one thousand.
TRY 2.5 million scholarship for 400 students
– Ciner Group grants total of TRY 2.5 million scholarship every year to 400 students from Şırnak who are successful and have no financial means determined by Governorship of Şırnak.
